Dr. Konobu Kimura is the Head of Research Laboratory at Furuno Electronic, where he advances Machine Learning and Deep Learning technologies for products utilizing ultrasonic and electromagnetic wave technology. He previously served as the Technical Director at Sysmex Corporation, designing algorithms for clinical parameters and applying Deep Learning to unstructured medical data. His earlier work at SHIMADZU CORPORATION included developing image reconstruction algorithms for CT and PET scans, aiding in cancer detection. Dr. Kimura holds a Ph.D. in Medical Science from Juntendo University and an M.S. in Mathematical and Applied Physics from Osaka University.
