AI Engineer at Aitomatic, specializing in the development of industrial domain-specific foundation models. Before joining Aitomatic, he served as a research assistant at the University of Rochester, where he focused on developing AR/VR-based instructional AI systems to assist humans in performing complex tasks using multimodal LLMs. Earlier in his career, he was an AI research resident at VinAI Research, where he developed several OCR models for both academic and industrial applications. William has also published numerous papers in top-tier AI conferences, including CVPR, NAACL, ACM MM, and ICCV. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Rochester and a bachelor’s degree from Vietnam National University.
